Home Sweet Home

I can't get over the fact that in less than five hours Jonathan and I are going to be home owners. I have been looking forward to this day for years and can’t believe it is finally here. The first thing I am going to do when I get into the new home is dive into the huge master bath tub. You ask why? Because it will be mine and I will own it, and quite frankly because I CAN! Oh my dear, I am getting way too excited just thinking about it. That's all I am going to write about the house for now, because we all know that anything can happen in five hours and I would hate to be let down...again.

Lovely wouldn't you say?

Happy Birthday Brother

Today is my baby brother’s 21st birthday. I can't believe it; our little boy is all grown up. It seems like yesterday the little turd was walking around dodging ceiling fans. You see, when Kyle was younger he would slick his hair down with a pound of gel a day. He wanted his hair-do perfect all day long, and would totally freak if he would walk into the slightest breeze.

Kyle and I were not friends growing up. Our mission in life was to be as mean as possible to one another. I remember one specific day I was lying on the couch watching Oprah and Kyle was sitting across the room. I saw him digging in his nose, but didn’t think anything of it because that was all he ever did. Next thing I know there was a warm sensation on my cheek. No joke, the kid flicked a slimy booger from 20 feet away and it landed exactly where he wanted it to. Told you he was a turd!

Throughout the years I have watched our friendship gradually develop into something really special. It took some time, but I would not have had it any other way. We had fun growing up together and developed a unique bond that only sister and brother have.

Happy birthday Kyle! I am so proud of the man that you have become.

Welcome

Hi. I am creating this blog to share photos with family and friends. I also thought it would be a fun to go back and read stories from different stages of my life. Alright, so I might be fibbing a bit. Do you really want to know the true, honest reason I am creating this? I am a freaking receptionist and I am deathly bored at work. One day I can look back at this time in my life and remember how easy life was when all I had to do is sit in front of a computer and look pretty. Enjoy my boredom.
