Last Saturday we found out the gender of the baby. This is how it went down ... Last Thursday we had the ultrasound technician write down the sex of the baby on a picture of the ultrasound, she then sealed it in an envelope. I carried around the sealed envelope in my purse for two whole days (yes, it just about killed me). Finally on Saturday morning Leah and I took the envelope to Randall's and had Sylvia, the lady that works in the floral/balloon department, fill the box with pink or blue balloons, depending on the information inside the envelope. We left the store while she prepared everything. Basically only the ultrasound tech and Sylvia (my new BFF) knew the gender of our baby. We took the mysterious box home and opened it in front of our family and friends. As you can tell, we were SURPRISED ... to say the least! Check out the video I made at the bottom of the post.
The envelope that burned a hole in my purse for two days
Pook with the results
Getting ready to open the box
Holy shit balls!
So surprised!
Shocked, but happy!
It took a couple of hours for the results to sink in, but now I am thrilled and could not be happier! Can't wait to meet you baby girl.
Ash, Jen and I with our baby GIRLS! So awesome, I have a feeling the three babies will be the best of friends.
I played a fun little game before we opened the box. Check out what everyone thought the gender would be.

I guess you always guess the opposite? I think we all thought Cole was a girl too... I am so happy for you guys. I am sad I am not there to celebrate with you!
So glad we could be a part of your gender party! Even more excited that we (you, me and Jen) are all having baby girls together :) Loved watching the video again. Wish I was on top of things like you, and would have had you video my gender party.
Congrats again!!!!!
Congratulations! Your dad's comment made me laugh SO hard! And I bet Leah is thrilled she's on the internet in a towel with no make-up on!
I am so bummed we missed the party! My vote would have definitely been girl! :)
