Weird & Random Question ...

Does anyone else own this Boon Frog Pod? It's a cool little contraption that scoops up bath toys. It's a great thing to have and makes cleaning up after bath time much easier, but I can't seem to get it to stay put on the wall. I've tried that sticky stuff that came with it and it fell like a day later. I'm not about to drill a hole in the tile, so how else can I get it to stay? Anyone out there have any luck with keeping this bad boy in place on your shower wall?

Sunless Tanner Review

Now that summer is almost over, I thought I would go ahead and grace you guys the outcome of the tanning products. Some of the products were so shitty they are not even worth mentioning. ... that's you Loreal' Sublime Bronze, you suck! But one product that is worth mentioning is the beauty below.

The label said to wear gloves when applying, but who really follows those directions anyways? Apparently everyone, except me because I don't see others walking around with black palms. This stuff is dark, dark brown! Not much of a scent, just a tad of stank, compared to the huge stank other products have. I spludged out a handful and began to apply to my left arm. When I went to get more I took a look at my hand and I could tell that this was not going to be good. It was already starting look like I was from the African American decent. I immediately began scrubbing my hands, but there was no hope. I had a feeling that I'd be stuck with the brown palms for a good while .. and that I was. On the plus side, I could see exactly where I had applied the product and  it was easy to apply. I am investing in some gloves and will give the bad boy a good test the next time around.

... Couple Of Days Later ...

I bought gloves and tried this product once again, and I was instantly in love. The color stayed with me for at least a week and it was the perfect tan, not too orange. I have now tried all the tanning products and this, my friends, is by far my favorite. Hands down. Of course there are down falls to every product, and my only complaint I have is the price. Of course it was the most expensive of all the products, but in this situation I agree with what they say ...  you get what you pay for! The end.

Self Tanner #3 : Sublime Bronze ProPerfect Airbrush Self Tanning Mist

Sublime Bronze ProPerfect Airbrush Self Tanning Mist

I originally planned to go in order to review my sunless products, but decided to take a quick detour. If any of you happened to see Good Morning America this morning, they totally stole my idea and were rating the products, just as I am. Their second favorite product was the Sublime Bronze ProPerfect Airbrush Self Tanning Mist. Before anyone takes the recommendation to heart and goes out and wastes $10.49 I wanted to tell you DON'T DO IT! No offense L'Oreal, but this stuff sucks! This product has been the worst yet. It left my skin streaky, orange and quite frankly I looked like a leopard with a severe disease. Kids, trust me, just say no to this product.

Yours Truly,

Leo, The Leopard

Even though I only got two lousy comments about the product review, I guess I will at least entertain a couple of my readers. Thanks Jaimie and Kathleen! I'm in the process of trying them all out, I'll report back shortly.

Tough love

Pook recently informed me that my blog is becoming rather boring to the "random person" out there, as all I talk about these days is my baby.  He suggested that I start doing a few product reviews for my readers.  I’ve taken his advice to heart and decided … why the hell not? It’s a good excuse to splurge on a few products that I have wanted to buy.

Thanks to Pooks constructive criticism, first on the list … self tanners! I’m all about the summer glow, but I’m also not about skin damage, wrinkles, or hell even SKIN CANCER. So, I’ve decided to start tanning the smart way, from a bottle. I’ve tried the booths and air brush by a person, but those seem rather pricey. Let’s see if we can find one that we can all apply at home.

My package from Ulta arrived today, enclosed was a butt-load of potentiallly fabulous products. Stay tuned for the reviews. In the mean time, I want to hear from you. Are there any self tanning products that you love? Hate?

Also, just to make sure I haven’t completely gone off the deep end with the whole blogging idea, I need your opinions. Is this the totally gayest idea ever? Am I wasting your time about dumb products that you could care less about? If this is the case, please let me know and I won’t cram your brains with my useless opinions. Before I start this I want to have an idea if you guys will benefit from reading the reviews. Come on people, can I get some feedback? I promise, if you think it’s not a good idea, just tell me … I won’t get my panties in a wad, I promise.

p.s. Don't hold your breath because there are many Cole posts to come. Remember this whole product review thing is temporary, my son is not.

p.s.s. Remember woot.com? It's a woot off today! WOOT WOOT! You know what this means? My day just got even better. I'm waiting for them to post the super large camera cards, so if you happen to see this, let a sista know.
