Birth Announcements, Birth Announcements, Come and Get Your Birth Announcements

If you're anything like me, then birth announcements and cards in general are a huge deal. To me they are fun to pick out and I feel like they portray ones sense of style. Yes, some of you could care less about the damn things (Pook), but for those of us whom receive great joy by picking these type of things out, just let us be. Recently I have gone nuts with Photoshop and taught myself how to design more birth announcements. I thought to myself, why let my hard work go to waste when there may be other expecting mothers out there looking for cute announcements as well. Especially those that don't feel up to paying the price for www.tinyprints.com. I must admit that I used Tiny Prints with Cole's announcements and was extremely happy with the results, but I feel like some of the designs that I have below are somewhat comparable. Not to mention that I can get them made for almost half the price. Let me know if you're also searching for birth announcements because I'm more than happy to hook you up with a good deal.

Since I've been in the girly-girl, foo-fooy mood lately I decided to stick with all girl announcements for now, but I plan to work on little boy announcements in the near future. Just so you know...none of the colors on the cards are set in stone. Any color, design or wording can be changed and mixed matched so keep that in mind.

p.s. I had a difficult time with coming up with names and pictures to put on the examples below. I thought it would be boring if I used the same picture and same name for each announcement, so I decided to switch it up a bit. Some of the names are completely random, while others are names that we considered for our own little baby cakes, and some are straight up the most common names in America that I typed in without even thinking. Can you guess what names and middle names we really liked?

p.s.s. Oh yeah one more thing, for some of the announcements I used Cole's newborn pictures, just so you guys can get the entire announcement experience ...you're welcome!  Believe me, so far he is 100% boy and I doubt that he will look back one day and feel like a fruit because of this. Not that there is anything wrong with fruity dudes; I have a few homosexual friends myself (you know who you are, hi boys!). Anyways I didn't want to confuse anyone so yes, that's my son on a girl birth announcement, deal with it. But not all of the pictures are of my little Cole; thanks for being my model Baby Eloise!

p.s.s. Does anyone have a favorite from the selection below? If so, I'd love some feedback.

Only 2 of those names seem really popular. Not sure if you remember this, but when we came and saw you in the hospital you had mentioned what your girl name had been, I again see it on one of your choices. I need to hurry up and start having my own, otherwise I may not have any original names left since it looks like we continue to share the same liked names.

These are really cute Lane. Looks like fun times in Photoshop. I didn't know you could create them with that program - how neat!
