On a side note ... I ordered my new iphone 4! If you've tried to call or text recently and can't get a hold of me, it's because my current iphone blows. The new one should arrive in a couple of weeks. Whoop, I can't wait!

Random Photo Wednesday : Let Me Ride That Donkey, Donkey ... Errr Elephant Edition
Kyle is obviously doing something other than just playing baseball in California. Is this normal you asK? No, no it's not; but it doesn't surprise me one bit. Apparently he was doing some interview with the Dodgers and why they asked him to interview while on an elephant, who knows. Your guess is as good as mine.
Apparently this little (or shall I say big) dude is "Dixie" from Ace Ventura Pet Detective. Hmmmmmm...that boy, always up to something.

Random Photo Wednesday : First Time In A Long Time To Get Dressed For The Day Edition
I know it's a half ass job at getting ready (hence the lazy, curly hair), but look people, I finally showered. I haven't had time to take a shower since Lucy Rose has been born. Wheeew it's been a stinky 4 weeks around here. No, but really though, this is the first time I have looked presentable in a while. My daily uniform is usually work out clothes ... minus the working out part. Wait is this Radom Photo Wednesday? Or is this Lane Goes On And On About herself Wednesday?? Peace out!
p.s. holy boobs, yes I do love them. One of the perks of carrying around extra weight.

Random Photo Wednesday : Happy Engagement To One Of My Oldest Friends, Ali, Edition
I guess that's a weird wording for the title. She is not literally my oldest friend, like in age, she is actually one year younger than me. What I mean is that she is one of my long time friends (2nd grade, right Ali)? Anyways, that's her on the right, she's beautiful wouldn't you say. Anyways, I almost forgot that this is just supposed to be a picture with no words day, yikes blabber mouth. Happy engagement to my dear friend! I'm so happy for you, as we have talked about your big day for about ohhh just 15 years or so! Let me know if you need any help planning.
p.s. I hate to leave her sister, Dana, out; you're also beautiful, even though you were sometimes a meanie bigger sister.
p.s.s. Just a suggestion ... I looked it up, St. Mary's is only 5 minutes from St. Joseph and you have to admit it's the prettiest church in America. No pressure, but I thought I would throw that out there. And maybe the AC would actually work in October. Grrrr that still pisses me off! Nothing worse than sweat dripping down your legs on your wedding day!

Random Photo Wednesday : Mother and Daughters Edition
I offered to take senior portraits of our house keeper's daughter, Karen, and I'm so glad that I did. I had a great time with the three of them. Most of all, I enjoyed getting to know our house keeper, Patricia. She has worked for our family since I was in middle school and now she comes to both my house as well as my sister's house. I'm embarrassed to say that I never really knew her until I took her daughters pictures. Of course I always talk to her when she comes over, but she is a very shy woman and it took some prying for me to dig deep enough for her to let loose and be herself. Patricia is a fabulous woman, as are her two daughters. I'm so glad that I was able to capture a few moments of such an exciting time in her daughter's life. Congratulations Karen, you're an awesome girl and I know your future is a bright one!

I almost cried tears of joy when I opened it. I love it so much. See Pook, that goes to show you, I don't need diamonds, all I need is a thoughtful and hilarious t-shirt to make me happy. Love you babe.
